Samba, April 16 : Samba Police under the guidance of SSP Samba Benam Tosh,has arrested three thieves and recovered stolen items from their possession.
The arrested thieves have been identified as Raj kumar s/o Janak Raj r/o Mandhera, Samba , Sanjeev Kumar s/o Pushap Raj r/o Mandhera, Samba and Atul Singh s/o Parshotam Singh r/o Kalu chak, Bahu district Jammu.
With these arrests, case FIR u/s U/S 379/411 police station Samba registered through PP Rakh Amb Talli and case FIR u/s 379 P/S Bari Brahmana have been worked while as further investigation is underway.
Out of three arrested thieves , two thieves have been arrested by police teams comprising of Chowki Officer Rakh Amb Talli Vineet Singh & SHO P/S Samba Rajeshwar Singh under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram whereas third thief has been arrested by a police team comprising of SHO Bari Brahmana Sunil Sharma & PSI Shakti Singh under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar under the overall supervision of Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that 64 thieves have been arrested in samba district and 33 theft cases have been solved in three months after the launch of intensive drive against the thieves.
