Samba, March 21 : Under the guidance of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, police has arrested five thieves , solved three theft cases and recovered stolen items worth lacs of rupees.
Arrested thieves have been identified as Sunil Kumar alias Maut s/o Shiv Ram r/o Rajpura, Sahil Choudhary alias Khanna s/o Bodh Raj r/o Rajpura, Rishi Manyal alias Deepu s/o Romesh Chander r/o Ghagwal , Mohd. Younis s/o Ramzan Mohd r/o Badhori Bari Brahmana and Attu Mohd. alias Mannu s/o Mohd. Sadiq r/o Handa Chak tehsil Marheen district Kathua.
Arrests were made by SI Ravinder Singh, PSI Abrar Ahmed, SHO PS Samba Rajeshwar Singh, SHO PS Bari-Brahmana under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram and SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that police is committed to solve all theft cases registered in the district and has arrested 56 thieves in short span of two months , solved 29 theft cases and recovered stolen property worth lacs of rupees.
