SAMBA POLICE WORKED OUT ANOTHER THEFT CASE, ARRESTED 02 THIEVES, RECOVERED STOLEN CASH ; TOTAL 35 THIEVES ARRESTED, 16 THEFT CASES SOLVED IN A MONTH : SSP SAMBA BENAM TOSH



Samba : Under the guidance of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, police have worked out another burglary case registered at police station Bari Brahmana, arrested two (02) thieves and recovered stolen cash amounting to rupees eight thousand.

 On 12.02.2023, a written complaint was lodged at police station Bari Brahmana by one Sukhdev Singh s/o Natha Ram r/o Dollian, Bari Brahmana regarding theft in his house. Upon this complaint, a case FIR No. 30/2023 U/S 454/380 IPC was registered at police station Bari Brahmana and investigation was started to work out the said theft case.

During the course of investigation, a police team of PS Bari Brahmana comprising of SHO PS Bari Brahmana Sunil Sharma and SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar under the supervision of Addl. SP Samba Surinder Choudhary arrested two thieves identified as Rohan Kumar alias Gourav s/o Bobby r/o  Teli Basti Bari Brahmana and Munna Singh s/o Sandeep Singh r/o Kundra Dera Baba tehsil and district Reasi A/P Teli Basti Bari Brahmana. During sustained interrogation the arrested thieves confessed their involvement in the above mentioned theft case and on their disclosure stolen cash was recovered. Further investigation is going on.

SSP Samba Benam Tosh said that total thirty five (35) thieves have been arrested and sixteen (16) theft cases worked out by Samba police in a short span of about one month after launching intensive drive against thieves in Samba district and all out efforts are on to solve other theft cases in the district.
