Anti encroachment drive also started in Srinagar in which 52 kanals prime land retrieved. In this drive Neduo's hotel was also included. The Neduo hotel is one of the oldest hotel of Kashmir on hotel road & owner was a relative of NC supremo Farooq Abdullah. The owner of the hotel while showing the copies of the document said that this land was on lease since 1835. He also said only a shed was demolished.
