29 Jan, 2023, Samba District Administration Samba today retrieved prime commercial roshni land near mansar morh on National Highway in district samba.
Two patches of prime land retrieved today were in possession of Sanjeev sharma son of Ex mla parkash chand sharma and Satdev singh s/o nagar singh. The illegal possession was retrieved after day long anti encroachment drive. JCB machinery was deployed for dismantling the RCC structures, boundary walls, pavements etc.
Revenue officer informed that Roshni land measuring 3 kanals under khasra no. 97/66 and 3 kanal 4 marlas under khasra no. 97/66 retrieved today has commercial values worth near about 10 crores.
Pertinently, the samba administration has activated men and machinery on mission mode to evict the illegal occupants and retrieve the State land.
The anti-encroachment drive was carried out under supervision of Assistant Commissioner Revenue Samba Manu Hansa while officers from Revenue and Police alongwith field staff were also present.
