Modi Government committed for overall development of J&K: Johal Kick-starts blacktopping of road in Khanpur Panchayat


RAMGARH, Nov 11: The Central Government headed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking special care of Jammu and Kashmir and there is no dearth of funds for its development.

This was stated by DDC member Sarabjit Singh Johal while starting blacktopping of road in Khanpur Panchayat with an estimated cost of Rs 15 lakh.

The DDC member said that for the first time people of this Union Territory have been witnessing developmental works going on at full pace on ground. This is because of the BJP Govt at the Centre taking special care of J&K and funds being no restraint.

Asserting that Modi led Union Government is fully committed for the overall development of every nook and corner especially the remote and far flung areas, Sarabjit Singh Johal said that the PM deserves full appreciation and credit for taking up the cause of the common people especially in backward and remote areas. He also informed the people about the Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) launched by the Union Government for them and appealed to them to come forward and avail the benefit of the schemes best suited to them. 

Sarabjit Singh Johal described Narendra Modi as the world’s “most popular leader” and said his Government has fulfilled decades-long aspirations and dreams of the people. He asked the people to further support the BJP led Government for peace and prosperity of the common people especially in the backward and far flung areas.

Among others who were present include Ramgarh Mandal President Shiv Chaudhary, Sarpanch Champa Devi, Naib Sarpanch Jagdish Raj, Panch Sudagar Mal, Mandeep Singh (Smarty) and Captain Gurmej Singh.
