IRP ORGANIZED UNITY FUNCTION AT KATHUA ; SSP BENAM TOSH TOOK SALUTE AT UNITY MARCH PAST



Kathua : Indian Reserve Police organized unity function to mark National Unity Day-2022 at IRP-19th battalion headquarters Kathua where SSP Benam Tosh Commandant took the salute  at the unity march past and administered pledge of unity, integrity and security to the officers and Jawans.

                 SP Dewaker Singh, Deputy SP Shabinder Singh, Deputy SP Deepak Tufchi, hundreds of  other senior police officers and lower subordinates belonging to all companies of the battalion participated in the unity function and took solemn pledge of unity, integrity and security of the nation. ‘Rashtriya Dhwaj Toli (National Flag Party) was exclusively comprising of women officials under the command of Ms Sarita Sharma who displayed the national flag while the pledge was being taken solemnly at the well organized ceremonial ‘Unity Parade’. Parade Commander Tarun Gandotra gave word of command whereas different contingents presented impressive march past.

                 Speaking on the occasion, SSP Benam Tosh highlighted the significance of the pledge taken and said that officials have solemnly pledged to dedicate themselves to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation and also pledged to strive hard to spread this message among fellow countrymen. Officials also solemnly resolved to make their own contribution to ensure internal security of the country. Benam Tosh further said that some anti-national elements are hell bent to spread anti India propaganda by different means and  radicalizing some gullible youth  at the instance of enemy country which need to be thwarted  effectively and all anti-national elements should be  legally dealt with and put behind bars sooner than later. Benam Tosh exhorted the officers and officials to work hard towards ensuring unity and integrity of the nation with conspicuous boldness as they are not alone and entire country and government is standing behind them in fight against militancy.
