LeT terrorist Shahid Mahmood, along with Hafiz Saeed, Chief of LeT & JuD and an UN-designated terrorist hatched conspiracy to create bases and sympathizers in India by sending funds in the garb of religious/charity work, which could be later used for anti-India & terror activities. Shahid Mahmood is involved in Falah-i-Insaniat Terror funding case registered at NIA Police station Delhi. FIF was designated as terrorist entity working on behalf of LeT by UN on March 14, 2012. In Oct 2020, India listed him as a terrorist under UAPA, 1967 as amended in 2019.
