Jammu, 4.08.2022: The Central University of Jammu is organizing its third Alumni Meet in which the distinguished students of the University will participate. This meet is to be organized on 28th August 2022 at 11 am in Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium, Bagla (Rahya-Suchani). It will be organized with the name of 'SANGAM', which will be presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Sanjeev Jain, and convened by Professor Rasal Singh, Dean Students' Welfare.
The interface of industry and academia has been kept in mind under the National Education Policy (NEP) behind organizing this event. The university wishes to present its alumni as its brand ambassadors and also seek their cooperation in building a relationship with the industry.
It will be a grand event in which some regional artists will also be invited to the cultural program and a number of activities have been planned for the alumni. They will also be given full time to interact with each other. In this meet, distinguished alumni from each department will also be nominated and they will be honored by the special guest.
So far, about 200 alumni have consented to attend this meet. The meet will be followed
by lunch.
