11 different vehicles involved in illegal mining seized by Jammu Police

Jammu: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Khour, PS Nagrota, PS Miran Sahib, PP Sidhra and PP Chinore acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at different locations in their respective areas and seized 11 different vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicles seized are as under:

Five tractor without Registration No by, PS Khour

Two tractor trollies without Registration Nos by PS Nagrota 

One  tractor trolly without registration No by PS Miran Sahib 

Two tractor trolleys bearing Registration Nos JK02CT 3643 and JK02CU 2562, by PP Sidhra

One tractor trolley without Registration No by PP Chinore 

The recoveries were made by SHO PS Khour Inspr Balwinder Singh, SHO PS Nagrota Inspr Vishav Pratap Singh, SHO PS Miran Sahib Inspr. Zaheer Mushtaq, I/C PP Sidhra SI Majid Hussain and I/C PP Chinore PSI Amit Singh in their respective jurisdictions. DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.

The mining was done in violation of order of Hon'ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
