SAMBA, AUGUST 31: District Development Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta today chaired a meeting of Purmandal Utterbehni coordination committee and reviewed various upcoming and ongoing development and restoration activities, here today at conference hall DC Office Samba.
During the meeting Senior Superintendent of Police, Rajesh Sharma, District Development Council Member (Purmandal) Avtar Singh, Additional District Development Commissioner Tilak Raj Shastri, president J&K Dharmath Trust, representatives society, Sarpanch Purmandal besides official members were also present.
District Development Commissioner while chairing the meeting was appraised of various developmental activities ongoing in the purmandal Utterbehni tourist circuit including restoration of main temple building Sarain, adjoining temples, constructions of approach road to temple besides other upcoming project under PARSAD were also discussed.
DDC Samba laid emphasis upon all the departments to submit action plan for overall development of the historical site and directed to ensure the action his formulated in accordance with local elected representatives and civil society members." Our prime aim is to restore and rejuvenate Pilgrimage sites and purmandal Utterbehni is the most prioritized pilgrimage site besides a planned and sustainable action plan is required for a complete religious tourism experience, added DC Samba.
