BJP J&K General secretary and former mininster Sh. Sunil Sharma, general secretary and former minister Dr. Davinder Manyal met with Hon’ble LG Sh. Manoj Sinha and newly appointed CS of J&K Sh. Arun Kumar.
Various issues that were taken up with Hon’ble LG and CS were:
1. Issue of illegal mining.
2. Further strengthening of Panchayati Raj Institutions and elected Panches, Sarpanches, BDC and DDC.
3. Issue of depriving Mahajan, Khatri and Sikhs for sale and purchase of agriculture land in some areas
4. Pending Payment in RD Department.(MG NREGA)
5. Issues of Daily Wager and other Adhoc and temporary employees.
6. Issue of promotion, transfer and posting of senior veterinary doctors
Similarly, the issue of promotion of Jammu divisions AEAs in the Department of Agriculture was also discussed and it was assured that these officials will be promoted and will be placed at par with the AEAs promoted in Srinagar division.
Other issues discussed were like early completion of Jammu Poonch NH, completion of left over development works in the UT, regularisation of workers in Coal mines at Kalakote, compensation to the farmers and others whose land is coming under NH, Katra Amritsar Express Highway and Ring road etc. Distt President Samba Amar Singh was also present.
