Hizbul Muzahaidin Chief Commander Saifullah ( South Kashmir) killed in an encounter. Police had input that he came into a house in the intervening night, so police cordoned off the area. Later Army also joined in the operation. In ensuing gunfight, the terrorist killed. Terrorist Saifullah Hizb Chief of South Kashmir was catalyst in abductions/killings of civilians, SPOs and Policemen in 2018. A very close associate of then HM chief Riyaz Naikoo and took his position in May after his death. He was a brand of new age terrorism which ends yesterday. He was also called Dr Saifullah in his close circles. His killing is a big achievement of J&K Police, CRPF, Army etc: IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar
