This is really a great news and an achievement by BRO and of course Indian Govt! This is a 8.8 km long tunnel connecting Manali with Leh built at a cost of ₹ 3200 Cr. This Rohtang tunnel called "Atal tunnel" will be most probably inaugurated by end of Sept 2020. Now the original length of 474 km road from Manali to Leh will come down to only 46 km saving huge quantities of fuel and cutting long and tedious journey by about 7 hours.
