Bycott Chinese Products call: How far we are ready for that?
With the bloody face-off with Chinese Army & death of 20 Indian Soldiers, the call for the boycott of Chinese Goods again reiterating. Actually India is a very big market for Chinese Products. From Smartphones, Television, Auto Components to Internet Apps,Telephone Equipments, Home Appliances Chinese Firms has dominance in every field. Chinese Products due to their less price are the first choice of every Indian.
Today from this article we will view how much share of Chinese firms in the sectors mentioned above & what are the options we have???
First of all we come to the sector of Smart Phones. The market size of this sector is 2 Lakhanpur crore rupees & the Chinese firms has 72% share in this sector. All major brands Vivo Opposite Redmi etc are Chinese. Latest One plus phone of China in its online buying on Amazon & One plus became out of stock. In this sector we have no options because Chinese brands are cheaper & are technically at their best in comparison to Apple etc & they are giving very concessions on their online selling.
Next in the row is Internet Apps. As of June 2019 it is estimated that there are 120 million (12 crore) users of Tik Tok Internet App in India. The overall percentage is 66%. The options there are many but if only the Indians get rid off this Tik Tok app.
In the Television market whose size is of 25 thousand crore, Chinese have 45% share & it is somewhat difficult to cope here as Chinese TVs are very cheaper in comparison with other brands.
The biggest sector is of Auto Components whose market size is of 57 arab dollars & Chinese has 26% share in it & if we talk about the options, these are a little because INDIA has no infrastructure of that type & she has to spend too much money on research & development. So same is the case of other sectors like Telecom Equipments, Home Appliances, solar power etc. So only a determined will plus dedication to the cause & philanthropist atmosphere can change the tide. We must not forget in our mind that we have to start from somewhere & 'A well beginning is half done'
