17 dead, 59 injured in explosion in western Ghana, Municipal Chief Executive for Prestea Huni-Valley, Dr. Isaac Dsamani, has told Tv3 news that 17 people have died so far from the explosion that happened at Apiate a community near Bogoso. It is pertinent to mention that an explosion in Ghana's rural Western Region on Thursday razed hundreds of buildings and killed an unknown number of residents when a truck carrying explosives to a gold mine collided with a motorcycle.
